I loaded my clip back into
my black Sig-Sauer gun then slipping back into my holster behind my black
jeans. Finally the laws of my making us legal in Canada had passed. Which
makes the business dealing between the United States and Canada much more
easier and more profitable.
I do have a personal reason for coming
all the way to St. Louis from Edmonton, Alberta. About a month ago, I had
killed my sire's human servant. Jesse (the servant) was never her human
servant to begin with.
He was actually Galen's human servant,
who made Indiana. Jesse had these incredibly psychic powers which gave
Indiana (my sire) great powers. Galen had this thing of watching women
and children suffering, it really "arouse" him.
Galen was also the Master of Edmonton.
After Indiana killed him, Jesse slowly started to kill her by poisoning
her blood and her mind. I could not convinced her that he was dangerous.
He wanted to spilt us down the middle.
We used to be a powerful team in Edmonton.
When Galen, she didn't wanted to become the Master of Edmonton, she didn't
want to give up her music so I took over and she supported me.
Until now. It nearly killed her when
Jesse died, she was literally bed ridden for weeks. When she was able to
get part of her strength back, she went to St. Louis to be with her old
friend Asher.
She is still furiously at me but I don't
care. I still care for her but I would be a fool if she decided to allied
with Jean-Claude. I don't know how she could, she is still mad at him for
letting Asher being tortured over 200 years ago. That woman can carry a
grudge.
Great, the last thing I need is a war
to start between the two cities. There is no way in hell that she is going
to be allied with Jean-Claude even if I have to kill her myself.
"Mr. Raven, sir? We will be landing
in St. Louis in a few minutes."
"Thank you, Henry," I answered over
the intercom inside of my private jet. I do hope that Indiana will be well
enough, the rest of her band Nightshadow will be arriving in a few days,
just to see her and start performing in Jean-Claude's clubs and their album.
She need to get on with her life.
Once my plane had landed, I stepped
outside.
